# beacon.blobs

> Beacon chain blob data — EIP-4844 blob sidecar data for rollup data availability.

## Table Description

The `beacon.blobs` table stores blob sidecar data that is exchanged between validators and users on the Beacon network. This table is partitioned by block\_date.

## Column Descriptions

| **Column** | **Type** | **Description** |
| - | - | - |
| **block\_epoch** | long | Epoch number when the block containing the blob sidecar was proposed. |
| **block\_slot** | long | Slot number within the epoch when the block containing the blob sidecar was proposed. |
| **block\_time** | timestamp | Timestamp when the block containing the blob sidecar was included in the chain. |
| **block\_date** | date | Date corresponding to the block\_time. |
| **index** | long | Index of the blob sidecar within the block. |
| **proposer\_index** | long | Validator index of the block proposer. |
| **kzg\_commitment** | binary | KZG commitment for the blob, ensuring data availability and integrity. |
| **kzg\_commitment\_inclusion\_proof** | binary | Proof that the KZG commitment is included in the block, verifying its validity. |
| **kzg\_proof** | binary | KZG proof associated with the blob, used for data verification. |
| **body\_root** | binary | Root hash of the block body, representing its contents. |
| **parent\_root** | binary | Root hash of the parent block, linking to the previous block in the chain. |
| **state\_root** | binary | Root hash of the state after processing the block, reflecting the system's state. |
| **signature** | binary | BLS signature of the block proposer, ensuring authenticity. |
| **blob** | binary | The actual blob data associated with the sidecar, containing arbitrary data stored temporarily. |
