Notes

  • market_details, market_trades, ohlcv_hourly, and open_interest_hourly are the current Kalshi tables. market_report and trade_report are legacy daily-aggregated tables kept for historical continuity.
  • market_id is Kalshi’s ticker and is the join key across the current tables. event_id and series_id are Kalshi’s event and series tickers.
  • market_details covers every single market Kalshi has listed, traded or not, plus every parlay with at least one fill. market_trades and ohlcv_hourly only cover markets that have traded, so an untraded market has a details row but no trades or candles.
  • market_trades carries no market metadata; join market_details on market_id for the title, status, result and fee terms.
  • trade_report aggregates by date and price level, so a single (date, ticker) can produce multiple rows.
